1. TCU Online Application

All students studying abroad or traveling abroad with a TCU group must register and complete the TCU Online Forms. Apply Today!

TCU requires a 2.8 cumulative GPA and 2 semesters in residence in order to study abroad. The GPA requirement is set to ensure that the student will succeed academically in a new and challenging environment, without a large academic support system or resources. Exceptions to the GPA requirement are rare. In some cases, the GPA requirement is set by the host university and TCU cannot override it. Students may request an exception to the GPA requirement by submitting a GPA Petition form.

3. Credit Approval Form

Students studying abroad must complete the Credit Approval Form. Students should consult with their academic advisors, deparment chairs, and deans for completion of this form.

4. Online Orientation

All students must watch the pre-departure orientation for undergraduate students or graduate students and submit quiz results to our office.

5. Register with International SOS

All students must register with International SOS. To do so:

Go to the SOS Website (log on to http://my.tcu.edu and click on International SOS under "Helpful Links")

Click on the link in third paragraph in the middle of the page which says "Click here to activate your Emergency Record"

Click on the link on the right which says, "First Time Users, Sign Up"

Select a username and password for your Emergency Record

Following the menu items at the left, add your information for all the sections

Scan a copy of your passport and upload it to My Documents
